This PowerPoint starts off with a student worksheet for the documentary series Nicholas and Alexandra (which examines the Tsar and Tsarina's reign, right up to their execution) along with possible solutions for the teacher to use when discussing the content of the video with the class. The PowerPoint slides cover some of the problems that Russia and the Tsar faced in the lead up to the turn of the 20th Century.

Matthew Muscat is currently the Head of History at St. Michael's College, Adelaide, South Australia. He has also had extensive experience as a Gifted and Talented Coordinator. In the past, Matthew has worked on a number of different State curriculum panels. Matthew's teaching specialities are in History, Information Technology and Digital Video Media.
