We are proud to announce that both the History of the First Australians Set 5 and Walkabout Wellbeing Cards have been shortlisted in the 2023 Australian Educational Publishing Awards!

History of the First Australians Set 5 was shortlisted in the Student Resource – English (Literacy/Literature/Language) category. We are pleased to see such wonderful recognition from such a prestigious organisation. Every year the best of the best in Australian educational publishing compete for these awards so we will feel very honoured to be nominated in two categories. History of the First Australians is an ongoing series with continued involvement of Indigenous writers, content experts, and illustrators. There are now 100 readers in the series covering music, art, dance, astronomy, migrations, walkabout and yarn circles with many more topics.

Trevor Fourmile's Walkabout Wellbeing Activity Cards have been shortlisted inCorey White the Student Resource – Arts/Science/Humanities/Social Sciences/Technologies/Health and Physical Education category. Walkabout Wellbeing Activity Cards, and the Teacher Resource by Sharlene Coombs, is a major work on behalf of Trevor and translates the ancient custom of walkabout to a modern context as a form of therapy for young people to achieve peace, harmony, and wellbeing through practicing some of these old customs. The combination of simple accessible activities with breathtaking art makes these a joy simply to flip through.

Congratulations to all the nominees, representing the outstanding work coming from Australia's Education Publishing industry!
